Product Development & Production Coordinator
Satta is a contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand exploring subjects related to self and nature, through garments, objects, spaces and scents, established in 2013 in London and now based in Barcelona, Spain.
We're in search of a dedicated and organized individual to work in tandem with our Founder/Creative Director, serving as an invaluable ´right-hand´ across the product development and production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development critical path and maintain constant communication with our manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure all ex-factory dates are met for both sampling and production.
- Oversee the inventory of fabrics and trims to guarantee that the necessary quantities are readily available for our manufacturing partners.
- Create and update range plans and tech packs each season, ensuring that all comments and measurements are clear, concise, and precise.
- Assist in seasonal research, sourcing, purchasing, and tracking of fabrics & trims.
- Assist in sampling fittings, accurately recording all points of measures and construction comments, and providing them to our manufacturing partners.
- Ensure that all product Bills of Materials (BOMs) are accurate and up-to-date throughout each stage of the development process.
- Maintain updated product information within our ERP system (Uphance).
- Address any technical queries or challenges with factories throughout the production process.
- Coordinate the shipping of samples and bulk production between factories, our design studio, 3PL warehouse, and wholesale customers.
- Assist in the coordination and support for our wholesale customers.
- Ensure the design studio is kept organised and be willing to assist in any ad hoc tasks that arise.
Qualifications:
- Full professional proficiency in English
- A minimum of four years of experience in a similar product development or production management role.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of patternmaking and basic sewing skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
- Advanced Google Sheets skills.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing cycles and processes across a wide range of product categories.
